How do I keep my Books and Records?

The simple answer is either on paper or on computer. You don’t have to keep all the paper records if you capture all the information from the originals electronically but you must capture both the front and back of each document.


All electronic records must be saved in a readable format and HMRC requires that you keep a back up.
